Tow truck driver arrested for violating Spartanburg Co. towing ordinance: deputies


SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – An Upstate tow truck driver has been arrested on costs he violated Spartanburg County’s towing ordinance.

In keeping with the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Workplace, 47-year-old Christopher Michael Cole was arrested on two counts of violation of county ordinance.

Deputies mentioned Cole towed 11 vans and trailers from a Spinx fuel station on Freeway 14 close to Greer.

Investigators mentioned Cole used the names of two completely different towing firms, Southern Delight Towing and Affiliation Towing, and storage tons in Wellford and Duncan.

The sheriff’s workplace mentioned, after consulting the the county legal professional’s workplace, their investigator obtained the 2 warrants for Cole.

The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Workplace is asking anybody who could have been a current sufferer of improper towing by Cole to file a report with them.
