49ers fans not invited to watch Super Bowl at this San Francisco bar

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Stay away 49ers fans. There is one bar in San Francisco’s SoMa neighborhood that won’t be welcoming the 49ers Faithful on Super Bowl Sunday.

BuzzWorks will be hosting a Super Bowl LVIII watch party “exclusively for Chiefs fans only,” the business wrote on its website. Doors open on Sunday, Feb. 11 at 11 a.m. for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff.

“As The Bay Area’s Official Home Of The Brave Kingdom, This Superbowl Is Reserved Exclusively For Chiefs Fans Only – So Please Represent!” BuzzWorks said.

BuzzWorks in San Francisco is listed as an official Chiefs bar, according to fan website Arrowhead Addict.

BuzzWorks is located at 365 11th St. — one block away from Costco. The watch party will not have a cover charge. Seating is first come, first serve for parties under 10.

It is unknown whether or not 49ers fans will be denied admission to the establishment.

KRON4 reached out to BuzzWorks for more information on its Chiefs-only watch party. We are waiting for a response.

Super Bowl LVIII will be a rematch of Super Bowl LIV in which the 49ers lost 31-20. The Chiefs won Super Bowl LVII last year.
